LeAnn Rimes, our favorite singer with psoriasis, appeared on national TV recently (on America’s Got Talent), wearing…a bikini. We’re not sure if that’s a great public service message about psoriasis, but it sure is a good one for her psoriasis treatment! We are thrilled that her treatment appears to be working.
But it got us wondering: imagine the impact it would have for her to go on national TV and bring a picture of what she looked like back when she had psoriasis on her skin? It would be a lot to ask of a public figure to share such vulnerability with the public, but it would, in a moment, educate millions about the impact psoriasis can have. CariDee English did it and survived. Now imagine a megastar like LeAnn Rimes doing it. Hmmm.
