What's Hot on the Psoriasis Cure Now website:

Psoriasis Cure Now was launched in January 2005 based on some simple, but powerful, ideas: If we are going to find a cure for psoriasis, people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis must speak out and demand their fair share of federal medical research resources. Until a cure is found, patients need access to the complete range of existing treatment options. We need the stigma that surrounds psoriasis to be removed, and fast. And fourth, psoriasis patients knowledgeable about the disease can be their own best advocates.

That is why everything we do targets three distinct audiences: lawmakers and other opinion leaders; psoriasis patients; and the general public. We walk the Halls of Congress educating key decision-makers about the importance of increasing the amount of federal funds directed toward research on psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, as well as the imperative that patients have access to the full range of safe and effective treatments for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

It's also why we are constantly expanding our website to serve more psoriasis patients and their loved ones, and why we reach out to the media to share with them the truth about psoriasis.

And we won’t rest until there is a cure.

Psoriasis Cure Now is run by Michael Paranzino, who has had psoriasis himself for more than 20 years and who has three generations of extended family with the disease, including elementary school-age nephews and nieces. Michael ParanzinoMike Paranzino is also an attorney and a former Chief of Staff to a U.S. Congressman.

Paranzino’s background includes campaign stints with two senior U.S. Senators. His writing has appeared in dozens of newspapers including the Los Angeles Times and the Houston Chronicle; and he has been interviewed on TV networks and radio stations across the US and in Canada, Europe and Australia. He holds a B.A. in political science from Yale University, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Herald, and a law degree from the New York University School of Law, where he was an Associate Editor of the Law Review.
