One of the greatest Americans ever to live was also one of the millions of Americans who have battled psoriasis. Benjamin Franklin, who was born 300 years ago, on January 17, 1706, had painful psoriasis flares during some of his most illustrious achievements, including as he helped draft the Declaration of Independence and as he secured French support for the Revolutionary War.
