Can a calendar change people's lives?
Ever been frustrated by how psoriasis is perceived by the public, or not given adequate attention by government officials? Tired of psoriasis being a punchline, a scarlet letter, or swept under the rug? Our Psoriasis Calendar Campaign is designed to get the truth out about the seriousness of psoriasis, and about the wonderful people living lives of triumph despite this noncontagious but stigmatizing disease.
For our 2008 calendar, we brought together an inspirational and diverse group of 16 psoriasis patients from 12 cities, added two dogs, a Harley and a guitar, signed up 6 professional photographers to "shoot" these volunteers, and came up with a calendar that tells the story of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.2008 Psoriasis Cure Now Patient Calendar Back Cover

Read the psoriasis patient profiles by clicking on the 2008 Psoriasis Cure Now Patient Calendar Front Covermonths listed at the top left of this page. Then copy the web address of the most inspiring story you read and email it to your friends, family and coworkers. If they are moved, ask them to forward it on. And on!

Then, if psoriasis impacts your life directly or through a family member or friend, volunteer to be in our 2009 Psoriasis Patient Calendar. Click here or on the Submit Your Story button above. We have distributed 5,000 copies of the 2008 calendar, and plan to distribute more than 7,500 calendars in 2009, including to every member of Congress and all the top media outlets nationwide.

Together, we'll turn a simple thing like a calendar into an inspirational, educational campaign for understanding.

Thank you for your support.
