HOW IT WORKS

  • Read the Official Rules. The rules will tell you how we will judge the videos, and lots of other important information about who can enter and what you must agree to do (18+, US resident, etc.). There are two distinct, but simultaneous, parts of this contest so read the Rules carefully!
  • The winning videos will be used to educate people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis about valuable resources they can access to connect with other psoriasis patients. Too many psoriasis patients feel totally alone, and many know no one else with this non-contagious but painful disease. Your mission is to show psoriasis patients the value of these resources.
  • You can enter one video in our 'Walk' track, or you can enter one video in our 'Web' track, or you can enter one video in each. Your call. But the Rules differ, so study them before you start filming.
  • Your video need not explain the totality of life with psoriasis in 15 to 30 seconds. Nailing just one piece of the story could be enough to win. (Yes, you read that right. All videos must be between 15 and 30 seconds. Not an easy task, to tell a story that quickly--that's why we're giving out so much prize money!)   • Remember the logo and website address requirements [described in Rules 1(A)(2)-(3) and 1(B)(2)-(3)]. We want people to learn more after they watch your video. This will tip them off where to go to learn more.
  • Let's keep it family-friendly: no cuss words or nudity!
  • Two $5,000 Grand Prizes will be awarded. We'll also pick two Early Bird winners from entries received through September 14, 2009 and award each of those $1,000. [See Rules 7(C) and 9.] Eight other Finalists will get $500. Not to mention bragging rights, publicity and the heartfelt thanks of the psoriasis community.
  • Have fun, and thanks for helping people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
