New Jersey Psoriasis Walk: U2 Concert Ticket Giveaway!

Announcing the NJ Psoriasis Walk’s “You Too Can Help Cure Psoriasis - NJ” Drawing!
We want to send you to Giants Stadium to see U2 in the concert event of the year.
We are grateful to everyone who is participating in the first-ever New Jersey Psoriasis Walk, and we now have a way to thank participants while encouraging everyone to help make the Walk a big success. A psoriasis patient has donated to us TWO TICKETS FOR THE U2 CONCERT AT GIANTS STADIUM ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2009, AND WE’RE GOING TO GIVE THEM TO ONE OF YOU! (Note: the original date for this show has been moved from 9/25 to 9/23.)
For each $75 you raise for the NJ Psoriasis Walk through September 16th (four days after the Sept. 12 Walk), you will receive an entry into a drawing for the U2 tickets. On or around September 19th, we’ll pick an entry at random and that person will be going to see U2 in the concert of the year!
Oh—did we mention the tickets are in SECTION 115?!?!
The drawing is designed to allow broad participation (you are entered if you raise $75), while encouraging participants to raise as much as they can to advance our mission (if you raise $150, you get 2 entries; if you raise $750, you get 10 entries; etc.). Note that this give-away is separate from the one for the Philly Psoriasis Walk. We will give 2 tickets to a NJ Walk winner, and 2 different tickets to a Philly Walk winner.
Please note that U2 and the venue have nothing to do with the drawing or the Psoriasis Walk. U2 just happens to be the hottest show of the year and a great way for us to thank our supporters. Please read the Official Rules below for all the drawing details.

The Walk is at the beautiful Van Saun Park -- Area I -- Waterfront Pavilion, 216 Forest Ave., Paramus, NJ, on Saturday, September 12th. [Click here for a map.] Registration starts at 9:00 am, and the Walk starts at 10.
You can walk as an individual, or form a Team with friends, family and coworkers, then fundraise and walk together!

Official Rules
BY ENTERING THIS DRAWING OR BY SUBMITTING FUNDS TO PSORIASIS CURE NOW AS PART OF THIS DRAWING, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING OFFICIAL RULES.
1. PURPOSE: This drawing (“You Too Can Help Cure Psoriasis-New Jersey” or “U2CHCP-NJ”) is to raise money for Psoriasis Cure Now (“PCN”) by participating in the New Jersey Psoriasis Walk (“NJ Walk”) on September 12, 2009 in Paramus, NJ. U2CHCP-NJ will award two (2) tickets to the U2 concert at Giants Stadium on September 23, 2009, to a winner picked from among those who raise at least $75 for PCN through the NJ Walk (“fundraisers”). Fundraisers must disclose that contributions sought are for PCN, and must not offer anything in return for a contribution; fundraisers should direct contributors to the PCN website for more information.
2. ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR TO WIN. This drawing is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Persons who are employees or on the governing bodies of PCN, or persons in their immediate families, are not eligible to enter this drawing. Any person under 18 at the time of entry shall be eligible to enter the drawing only upon submitting signed authorization of a parent or legal guardian. The authorization must state that the parent or legal guardian has read, understood, and agreed to the rules on the contestant's behalf. An otherwise timely entry is not invalid if the parental authorization is submitted after the drawing deadline; if, however, a winner fails to submit the authorization within two days of being notified of his or her selection as the winner, that winner forfeits his or her prize and the prize will be awarded to another entry as determined by the sole discretion of PCN.
3. RULES: These rules are subject to change at the sole discretion of PCN without advance notice. All recordkeeping, reviews, and decisions will be made by PCN, are final, and are not appealable. PCN may elect, at its option, to terminate this drawing, or to award more or fewer prizes than are listed here. PCN may, in its sole discretion, change or substitute a prize of a similar retail value should the prize or a component thereof become unavailable for any reason whatsoever. If any provision of these rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the remainder of these rules, and remainder shall be enforced to the greatest degree possible.
4. ENTERING THE DRAWING. A) Entry Information: Any person wishing to enter this drawing may do so on-line, or by mail. Entry to the drawing is available to any and all persons who raise and submit $75 or more to PCN, and who submit the appropriate entry information on-line or by written form. If entering the drawing by mail, a signed copy of these rules must accompany the entry form. One entry into the drawing will be earned for every $75 PCN receives from the fundraiser through September 16, 2009. All monies must be collected and submitted to PCN before the drawing. A random drawing will be held and a winner announced on or before September 19, 2009.
B) Submitting Funds to PCN: Pledges are not sufficient for entry eligibility, and contributions must be made in sufficient and acceptable funds; PCN’s judgment on the sufficiency of contributions for eligibility is final. Fundraisers who submit funds to PCN as part of this drawing should include a cover page indicating the amount of funds submitted, along with other entry information. PCN’s calculation of the amount of funds submitted is final, even if PCN’s calculation of the amount submitted is different from the fundraiser’s submitted calculation.
5. DEADLINES. This drawing begins on June 1, 2009, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on September 16, 2009; contributions and entry information must be received by PCN within that time period. Receipt by PCN is conclusive of the date submitted. PCN will not acknowledge receipt of entries.
6. PRIZES: A) Prizes are not redeemable for cash and cannot be substituted. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
B) Prize: The prize is two (2) tickets to the U2 concert at Giants Stadium on September 23, 2009. This prize helps promote PCN’s belief that persons with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis should resist social isolation and fully participate in public activities. Fundraisers expressly agree that their participation in this drawing is not conditioned solely on the availability of a particular prize or tickets for a particular concert. No other costs for attendance at the concert, including but not limited to parking, transportation, meals, concert t-shirts or lodging, is included, and any and all such costs shall be borne by the prize winner without reimbursement from PCN.
7. MEDIA RELEASE: Winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and state of residence by PCN for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium whatsoever including both online and traditional sources.
8. NO CONNECTION WITH BAND OR VENUE: PCN and this drawing have no connection to the band or venue whatsoever. A psoriasis patient donated these tickets to PCN to promote PCN’s mission by generating excitement related to this concert event of the year. Neither the band nor the venue nor the ticketing company is responsible in any way for this drawing or the work of PCN.
9. RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY: Fundraisers agree to hold harmless PCN/Framers Institute, Inc. and all persons associated with it from any and all liability associated with this drawing, including, but not limited to, any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, liability, actions or damages of any kind or in connection with: (1) entering the drawing; (2) acceptance of any prize; or (3) anything related to the drawing and the awarding of prizes. PCN is not liable for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, garbled or postage-due on-line submissions or mail. PCN is not liable if the band does not play Pride (In the Name of Love). Any claims relating to this drawing shall be governed by Maryland law without regard to its conflict of law rules, and any such claim must be heard in the courts with jurisdiction over Montgomery County, Maryland.
